A Latinx dance social where RHYTHM meets COMMUNITY

Tumbao social is a monthly dance event created to celebrate Latinidad through building new inclusive spaces where Latinx locals can gather to dance, connect, and build community. Our hope is that through creating more spaces like these, the vibrancy and solidarity of Latinx culture and its people can obtain new accessibility spaces.

Tumbao is tension, vibrations that spark something within, sound that makes the body tremble, difficult to stay collected, to multiply human capacity, the drum, the honoring of the animal, the energy of the tree, the human ritual, to claim the intricacy of song, of tradition & culture.
