Our Mission.

Boulder Afro-Latin Dance is dedicated to exploring Cuban dance through teaching, performances, social events, and live music with a social justice approach.

We aim to create an inclusive Latinx-centered dance space, highlighting the wisdom of its vernacular/cultural identity.

Dance Training: We offer high-quality dance training that encompasses various styles such as social popular, folkloric, Afro-Cuban, and contemporary Cuban dances.

Cultural Exploration: Exploring the relationship between movement, music, and culture, delving into the history, traditions, demographics, and generational developments both inside and outside of Cuba.

Our Impact

Community Engagement: Hosting community events that bring people together to experience the joy and cultural richness of Cuban dance.

Supporting Underrepresented Artists: Creating opportunities for underrepresented artists to showcase their work and build a more inclusive community through the arts.
